New GemPro Installation

Click
this link to Install
GemPro.
(You will require a connection to the Internet
throughout the installation process). EzyChart
users please note: If you are updating data for
EzyChart, we suggest you use GemPro version 3.4.2.

In
the File Download window that appears, choose
"Run program from its current location"
and then click "OK", or click the
"Open" button (depending on your version
of Internet Explorer).

The
Installation Program will initialise and the display
a Welcome screen. Follow the on-screen
instructions.

When
the installation of GemPro has completed, GemPro
will automatically start.

When
GemPro starts for the first time it will prompt you
for a Client ID number.

Enter
the Client ID number you have been given.
You are only required to enter your client ID
number the first time you run GemPro.

Please
be patient... the installation
of your history may take some time depending on the
speed of your Internet connection and the number of
exchanges you have subscribed to.
Step

- Collect
your outstanding data. Typically, the history
you install will be up to the end of the previous
week. After the historic data has been
installed, you will need to collect the remaining
days and you will be prompted to do so by the GemPro
program.

Congratulations...
you have now installed GemPro and your Historic Data.
Your data is located by Exchange in the Data
sub-folder of your GemPro program. The default
location is C:\GemPro\Data. For information
regarding GemPro Features and your data, please
refer to the on-line Help files that can be accessed
within GemPro or go to www.almax.com.au/help.htm.
